Bio

Stelios Phili is a Cypriot-American songwriter and record producer based in New York. After studying journalism and psychology, he landed a job at GQ magazine and created music purely as a hobby. It wasn’t until 2013, after meeting rapper A$AP Ferg, that his career began to transition to music. One of Stelios’ beats was chosen to feature on Ferg’s song 'Ja Rule', and he was then taken on tour with the rapper and artist MIA in 2014. His list of credits has since expanded to Young Thug, Elton John, SZA, Big Sean, Lolo Zouaï, and more. Stelios pushes the boundaries of creative audio manipulation by cutting, reversing, pitch-shifting, and time-warping clips to give his records unique sonic textures. He mixes entirely ITB and often uses low fidelity equipment to impart character and imperfections to his projects.
